Paranoia will destroy ya.

-The Kinks

Finally. I finished this earlier today, and thats all I can really say about this trilogy: its finally over. Im going to spoil the surprise ending, so if you actually want to read these books you may want to skip this.

The cute references to real life events tying them to the Illuminati or the Discordians are almost gone in this volume, and it really comes off more as an average sci-fi novel rather than some commentary on our state of affairs. And what do the characters learn about themselves and the nature of their various movements? That they are characters in a book and all of what happened is just at the whimsy of the authors imagination. Its been done, fellas. You make enough references to Kurt Vonnegut, so Im sure youve read Breakfast of Champions. And that book introduced this revelation to make a point, not just to wrap the whole book up because you couldnt think of something to write.

Rating: Its good, but nothing on the level of the Church of the Subgenius. Pay flea market prices.
