John Steinbeck, "The Moon is Down"
Started July 18 Finished July 19, 2002; 188 pages. Posted 19 July 2002
I have nothing to say about this book, good OR bad. It was all just words on a paper, forming sentences and paragraphs. It was similar to reading the classified sections for houses for sale, when youre not interested in purchasing a house.
This sparked no recognition, no emotion, no chord or nerve; it was hollow and flat, and it kept going. And so I kept reading, not especially bored, but just not interested either. Id be hard pressed to offer any synopsis of the story — there didnt seem to be any story to tell.
In fact, the only thing that I can say about this book with any sort of authority is that it was 188 pages long.
Rating: Huh?
