End of the Month Review: November, 2005
Yeah, I know, its already time to do the monthly round-up after just two measly books. Pathetic.
Just wait for the round-up next month. It gets worse.
One thing though, reading two books a month makes it easy to pick the best and worst books.
- Best book of the month: R. John Xerxes Pich (editor), with Blister Packs. A better-than-average collection of unknowns who probably deserve a shot at a wider audience.
- Worst Book of the Month: Chaz Matthews, with his Lost in the Supermarket. Culled from his blog at Live Journal, this is further proof that though you may have a lot of people as friends, it doesnt neccesarily mean they like you.
So the tally goes like this:
- Books read: Two. Shut up.
- Money spent on books read during this period: Nothing. They were both given to me by MaximumRockNRoll. And I still owe them reviews.
- Books bought during this time: Seven.
So that means for 2005 thus far...
- I read 100 books.
- I also spent $408.91 on books this year.
Im writing up another review right now, and will hopefully finish it tonight. But in the meantime, heres a caveat despite the totally annoying marketing, Taco Bells Crunch Wrap Supreme is awesome after seven or so Pabst Blue Ribbons polished off during my DJ thing. But I just loaded mine up with sauce, and noticed the little cute saying on the packet, which read, Of all those sauce packets, why me, why now?
To quote Vonnegut Vy you? Vy anybody?
